LIVERPOOL are hopeful of pushing through a deal for England's Adam Lallana before the World Cup.
Lallana
has been informed by Southampton that a £20million bid for him has been
rejected and the midfielder has said he only wants to move to Anfield.
England
coach Roy Hodgson has already warned that transfer deals must not be
conducted while his players are on international duty and Lallana wants
his future resolved by the end of the month.
Liverpool
will now look to up their bid and manager Brendan Rodgers is hoping to
get his business done early as he looks to build on the success of this
season when his side finished second and secured Champions League
football.
